Now more than ever, we're so grateful for the communities that have funded, advocated, volunteered and celebrated for Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children through the years. At a time when everything feels uncertain, we find comfort and encouragement knowing you care about our clients and the services ACCVC offers.

While all of us are facing great challenges at this time, we hope that you can find some peace knowing that victims of crime are continuing to be served because of your generosity. We wanted to share a few ways that you can maximize your gift. The Cares Act passed earlier this year for COVID-19 pandemic relief impacts year end giving.

A New charitable deduction is available to individual taxpayers who Do Not itemize their deductions. This benefit allows for a charitable deduction of up to $300 per individual as an above-the-line deduction against adjusted gross income. For those who itemize, The Cares Act increases the adjusted gross income limitation from 60% to 100%. For corporations, The Cares Act increases the adjusted gross income limitation from 10% to 25%.

CHANGE STARTS WITH YOU

The Advocacy Center isn’t an island unto itself. Every day, we rely on volunteers and philanthropists who are willing to share their time, experience, and finances to serve their community. Without the help of involved community members, we could not sustain our efforts and continue to help our neighbors who have been victims of crimes.

Without your help, we could not continue to bring hope and healing to victims of violent crimes. All donations stay here and are used by the Advocacy Center to directly impact the Central Texas area. Your donation can directly impact the hurting adults and children in this community by providing them with a safe and constructive environment that is the Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children.
